Tim Slatter

Tim's identical twin brother Alexander Slatter (Who's who 2012) showed with Kendalls for many years and was a prolific and successful seascape painter. Tim under painted for his twin for many years and they exhibited together. It was Alexander's wish that Tim continue painting seascape oils.

Tim comes from and started his business in Wensleydale and went on to show in over 150 shows as far away as North India. He has shown at Bonham's Fine Art Auctioneers, Lotherton Hall, The Mall Galleries, Ripley Castle, The Reubens Gallery and with Barn Galleries, Henley.

Tim's London studio was at the Chocolate Factory, Stoke Newington. He was a finalist in the Northern: Shell Livewire Young Business of the Year award 2000. Best of show at The Ripon Art Festival in 2002. i-crossing: Best Artist: Brighton Open House 2008

He has 16 etchings in the permanent collection of the Houses of Parliament, and has pictures in collections in several countries. Prince Charles privately opened one of Tim's shows at the Prince's Trust Head Office, and accepted an etching from the artist.

Tim now lives in Brading on the Isle of Wight and paints large seascape oils on Canvas using the sea as his inspiration.
