Cowes Regatta 1930

In brisk conditions, Britannia is neck and neck with Lulworth which was enjoying her most successful year to date, but was withdrawn from this race after colliding with the 12 metre Lucilla which sank rapidly with the loss of her steward.

This was Lulworth’s last season of racing.

This week Britannia won her 200th race.
